Xenon Fiber Light Source LQX

Because of their daylight spectrum (light of 5,800 °K similar to sunlight), xenon fiber light sources are suitable for all applications in which true-color imaging is required. The use of a new, special xenon lamp with an ellipsoid reflector provides maximum illumination. Moreover, this type of lamp features a long life and substantially reduced heat generation. It can be quickly and easily replaced without the need for special tools or additional adjustment. The line of fiber light sources of the LQX series offers a choice of 100 W and 180 W outputs. This series is compatible with any commercially available light guides and endoscopes just by exchanging the light guide adaptor.

Xenon fiber light source LQX 1000

The use of a 100 W xenon lamp with an ellipsoid reflector provides maximum illumination. An additional advantage of this new lamp technology over that of common xenon lamps is the substantially reduced heat output. The brightness is adjusted by a servo using the front panel. The color temperature remains constant unchanged.

Xenon fiber light source LQX 1800

Same technology as for the LQX 1000, but uses a 180 W xenon lamp with an ellipsoid reflector. The high intensity output ensures optimum illumination even under unfavorable conditions, such as turbid environments and with long fiber light guides.

Xenon Fiber Light Source LQX, stabilized

Based on the proven standard series of LQX these flicker-free light sources were developed particularly for the image processing. They guarantee a colorfaithful and flicker-free image replication with the application of CCD cameras.

The light sources of the series LQX stabilized are available with 100 W and 180 W output power. In connection with the flexible light conductors an optimal solution is thus available for almost any application, particularly with and to heavy accessible objects which can be illuminated with difficulty
