In the market segment Defense, LINOS offers numerous optical/optomechanical modules for various applications in defense and safety technology.

Our company is integrated in many government and private industry projects on a national and international level.

The customers of our hightech products are the navy, army and air force.

The navy purchases front windows for multi-spectral observation systems from us, for example. The army binoculars, intelligent artillery ammunition as well as objectives and magnifying glasses for night vision devices and IR objectives. The air force high-performance cockpit equipment like Boresight Reticle Units, for example.

With respect to aerodynamic vehicles, LINOS has provided a broad assortment of optical components and modules for decades. Systems and devices like MILAN, MIRA, ZOL/HOT Jaguar, HEOS, SIDEWINDER, Stinger, RAM,PARS 3, IRIS-T, various helicopters like the TIGER by Eurocopter as well as aircraft  by  Airbus, Dassault and EADS are equipped with LINOS optics.

All these moduls are almost exclusively customer-specific developments and designs specially produced and optimised according to our customer's special demands.
